Cutie of the Month rules

A monthly photo contest for pets in their homes. It's free: there's nothing to buy, and buying or boosting anything on Furizzma doesn't help a pet win.

Entering

Anyone with a Furizzma account can enter a pet: a photo, its name and a line about it. Enter as many pets as you like.
We look at every photo before it shows, usually within a day, and email you once it's in, with a page to share. It joins the month we approve it in.
The photo must be one you took or may share, of a real pet, with nothing hurtful, unsafe or selling something in it. We may decline one that isn't, and we'll tell you why.
By entering, you let Furizzma show the photo, your pet's name and your line on the site and on our social accounts.

Votes

Anyone can vote: signed in to Furizzma, or by confirming an email from a link we send.
Vote with the thumbs up on the contest's pages, or on an entered pet's card when you search for pets.
Everyone gets five votes a day, at most one for each pet, and none for their own. Votes come back at midnight Eastern.
We don't show how many votes a pet has, only the three leading, in order. Votes from fake or repeat accounts, or bought or traded, don't count, and we may take out a pet that gets them.

Winners

Each contest runs for a calendar month and closes at midnight Eastern as the next one begins. The pet with the most votes wins; second and third place are named too. If two pets tie, the one entered first ranks higher.

The winner leads our home page for the month after, and we share them on our social accounts. We email whoever entered the winner. There's no cash or other prize.
